Bio:
I'm incredible excited to be entering my second year at Forest Heights STEM. I've not only made so many friends with the faculty and staff, but also with students and parents. I'm truly grateful to be part of the amazing things happening in our school. I'm committed to helping students to not only master the content and coursework, but also help develop character. I truly believe that together we can help our students become the best possible versions of themselves.
I'm 34 years old and have lived in Arkansas my entire life. My wife Leigh Ann is a social worker and is also from Arkansas. We met when we both lived in Fayetteville to attend school. Our daughter, Lillian, just started pre-K. I'm a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks. I worked in the restaurant business for fifteen years before teaching. I left my position as a Food and Beverage Director at a country club to have a more meaningful impact in my community and in the lives of children.
Education:
bachelors: Journalism; Advertising and Public Relations University of Arkansas
masters: Masters of Arts in Teaching Arkansas State University
Memberships:
